The Englishman Jude Bellingham Suspended for 2 LaLiga Matches

Superstar midfielder Jude Bellingham receives a two-game ban after receiving a red card during LaLiga’s matchday 27 fixture against Valencia CF.

The 20-year-old was sent off following his actions towards a controversial full-time whistle by Spanish referee Jesus Gil Manzano, who brought the match to a close right when Bellingham headed one in towards the right corner.

Once it became clear that Bellingham’s ‘goal’ would not stand, the Englishman, along with his teammates, became outraged by the decision as they ran towards the official. Manzano then showed Bellingham a red card for his protest and “aggressive attitude” towards him.

According to Manzano, Bellingham aggressively and repeatedly shouted “It’s a f*****g goal” while charging towards him. However, Real Madrid claimed that Bellingham’s words were not meant to be “offensive” or “rude.” It was the heat of the moment, nothing insulting, “…it was just frustration,” explained Real’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

But after hearing what the Club had to say, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) still didn’t overturn Manzano’s original call to send Bellingham off.

The midfielder will now miss two LaLiga matches: one against Celta Vigo on Sunday, March 10 and the other against Osasuna on Saturday, March 16.

But in good news, Bellingham will be available for Real’s UCL second leg match against RB Leipzig as they look to finish off the German team at the Santiago Bernabéu after defeating them 0-1 on the road.
