German Midfielder Toni Kroos Set to Sign a One-year Extension with Real Madrid

Toni Kroos will play one more year at the Bernabéu as a new agreement between the German maestro and Spanish club is set to be signed until 2025, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Nothing has been confirmed by the club yet, but it seems like Carlo Ancelotti is serious about keeping Kroos around despite bringing in fresh firepower in Endrick and possibly Kylian Mbappé next year.

Kroos first signed with Los Blancos back in 2014 for €25 million at the age of 24. Since then, he quickly proved to be one of the most influential and crucial players on the squad by strengthening the team’s midfield with his vision and passing expertise.

The central midfielder has gone on to make more than 450 appearances across all competitions, establishing himself as the German player with the most appearances in Real Madrid history, all while registering 28 goals and 96 assists.

Kroos, who is on track to finish his 10th season with Real Madrid, has won 21 trophies with the club: four Champions Leagues, five Club World Cups, three LaLiga titles, four UEFA Super Cups, one Copa del Rey, and four Spanish Super Cups.
